Jennifer Garner will always remain thirty, flirty and thriving.
And she has the outfit to prove it. Garner, 52, posted a video to Instagram on Wednesday of herself recreating the getting ready scene from the iconic 2004 rom-com, “13 Going on 30.”
Whitney Houston’s song “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” played in the background, as it did in the movie, as the star applied lip gloss, cream, powder and eyeliner. Garner, sporting a white silk robe, hilariously zoomed in to show the moisturizer was retinol cream and threw on her glasses to help her apply the eye makeup.
The “Family Switch” actress, who played the role of Jenna Rink in the flick, then took to her closet where she looked confused as she took a pair of Spanx out of a drawer.
It was time for a wardrobe change as Garner switched into the same colorful dress Jenna wore to her work party in the film.
But this around, Garner ditched the blue heels for a more comfortable alternative. The Golden Globes winner donned white socks, dark pink sneakers and a grey crossbody. Garner also wore the same butterfly necklace that her character has on in “13 Going on 30.”
She then spun around in her bathroom before approving her look in the mirror and heading out.
“Happy 20th Halloween, Jenna Rink,” Garner captioned her post.
Fans flocked to the comments section to give their stamp of approval and relate to the updated routine.
Rounding out the sweet messages, one fan pondered, “You clearly love this character. A lot! Why haven’t we gotten a sequel?”
“Love it. The glasses putting on the eyeliner is the best,” one user wrote, while another follower chimed in, “And you haven’t aged a day!”
“Please tell me there are Razzles in your purse. #theyreacandyandagum,” one user commented, referring to Jenna Rinks’ choice of candy in the film.
“13 Going on 30,” which also stars Mark Ruffalo, Judy Greer and Christa B. Allen, follows unpopular Jenna after she makes a wish on her 13th birthday that she wants to be “30, flirty and thriving.”
She then wakes up as her future 30-year-old self, living the life she thinks she always wanted.
In April, Garner, Ruffalo, 56, and Greer, 49, celebrated the project turning 20 years old. The trio posted a recorded video chat to their Instagram accounts, titled “13 Going on Boomer.”
#13GoingOn30. Twenty years. We are three Boomers braving zoom—because we want to thank you,” the caption read. “To every person who has loved this movie along with us: Thank You. We see you, we appreciate you and we love you back. Forever thirty, flirty and thriving!”
