It may be time to bring back the 2004 reality series Wife Swap. And we know just the people who can help reboot the show!
During Friday’s (April 19) broadcast, Today hosts Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb were venting about their children when Bush Hager had a bright idea.
“Do you get mad when your kids call you ‘she’?” Kotb asked her. She explained that she disliked when her daughters refer to her as “she” instead of “mommy.”
“Do you know what Mila calls me now?” Bush Hager replied, referring to her 11-year-old daughter. “Jenner. And she has started calling me Kylie, because Kylie Jenner.”
She continued, “She goes, ‘Kylie!’ And I’m like is that supposed to be for me?” Kotb laughed in response.
“I have an idea I think we should send my children to your house and your children to mine, like you know that old show, and see what happens,” Bush Hager told her co-host. “Because Mila would come back all whipped into shape. She wouldn’t call me Jenner or worser things.”
We would certainly watch that!
Bush Hager has spoken about her tween daughter’s antics before on Today. Mila even made an appearance of her own on the show when she revealed that her mother “never wears underwear.”
Kotb asked Mila on the broadcast if there was anything about her mother that viewers should be aware of.
“She never wears underwear,” Mila replied, causing everyone in the Today studio to laugh. “She’s not wearing it right now! I saw her change.” The confession appeared to embarrass Bush Hager, who quickly rushed her off the stage.
In another instance, Bush Hager revealed that her daughter asked her husband why he “was lying” when he told her she “never looked better.”
She was describing her birthday celebration to Kotb when she dished on the hilarious moment.
“I told you how Henry goes, ‘Let’s cheers Mom, she’s never looked better,’” she said. “And Mila goes, ‘Dad, why are you lying? She has looked better.’”
