Jeff Lewis Clashes With Andy Cohen Over “Shady” Remark About ‘WWHL’ Bartender

There’s always a little drama when Andy Cohen‘s fellow troublemaking queen, Jeff Lewis, pays a visit to the Bravo Clubhouse. On Tuesday night’s (Nov. 12) episode of Watch What Happens Live, Lewis put Cohen on blast for a “shady” remark he made to his guest bartender.

At the start of the episode, Cohen introduced Vaughn Vreeland from New York Times Cooking as the evening’s guest bartender. The journalist was there to show off his new pie recipes just in time for Thanksgiving.

“This is the coconut caramel tart,” Vreeland said, to which Cohen quickly replied, “Oh. Not a coconut fan. But I’ll pick the caramel off.”

When they returned from the commercial break later in the episode, Cohen revealed that he tasted the pie and thought it was “amazing.” But Lewis wasn’t going to let him off the hook that easy.

“I thought you didn’t like coconut,” Lewis said, to which Cohen answered, “I don’t like coconut but Vaughn’s pie must’ve converted me.”

Lewis told his longtime friend that is was “a bit shady” of him to put down Vreeland’s pie earlier in the episode.

“Maybe that’s why I went and tried it,” Cohen explained, while Lewis added, “Right, because you felt bad. Because you felt bad.”

Lewis argued that Cohen felt sorry because he had “crapped all over [Vreeland’s] pie.”

“I crapped all over coconut, sweetie. Not his pie. I just made love to his pie,” Cohen fired back, before adding, “Vaughn doesn’t own coconut. Like, I can not like coconut and Vaughn and I can be OK with that.”

However, Lewis insisted that Cohen could’ve “pretended” to like it.

“Oh, because you are so delicate,” Cohen sarcastically remarked.

Pie-gate came up once again when Lewis was defending himself against Real Housewives of New York City star Brynn Whitfield‘s claim that he implied she had a sugar daddy of some sort. Lewis explained that when he suggested someone was supplementing her income, it could’ve been anyone from a long-term boyfriend to a family member. When Lewis said he supplemented his grandmother before she passed away as an example, Cohen asked if he was her sugar daddy.

“You’re making this weird now,” Lewis hit back, while Cohen added, “All I said was I didn’t like coconut, OK?!”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
