Is ‘9-1-1’ New Tonight? Here’s When The Next New Episode of ‘9-1-1’ Is On ABC And Hulu

What’s our emergency?! Well, 9-1-1 fans are so invested in Season 7 of the ABC drama that we can’t imagine going a single week without a new episode. And yet, we must!

After an ambitious three-episode Poseidon Adventure premiere, a Bachelor crossover, and a monumental same-sex kiss, and a heartwarming coming out episode, the series is ramping up again with a highly-anticipated, deeply chaotic Madney wedding episode.

Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait a while to see what the Bachelor party shenanigans await, and crucially, what the heck happened to Chimney (Kenneth Choi).

So when can we expect one of the biggest television weddings of 2024, Eddie (Ryan Guzman) and Buck’s (Oliver Stark) drunken karaoke scene, and another date for Buck and Tommy? We’ve got answers.

Curious if 9-1-1 is new tonight, Thursday, April 18? Want to know when 9-1-1 comes back with new episodes? Or how many episodes are in 9-1-1 Season 7?

Here’s everything to know about 9-1-1 Season 7, Episode 6, including premiere date, time, and more.

Is 9-1-1 New Tonight (Thursday, April 18)?

Tragically, no! There will be no new episode of 9-1-1 airing on ABC, Thursday, April 18. But if you turn on your TV at 8:00 p.m. you can still watch the 118 in action. To ensure fans don’t miss 9-1-1 too much during its midseason hiatus, the network is airing 9-1-1 reruns from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. tonight. So when can you expect 9-1-1‘s triumphant return?

When Is 9-1-1 Coming Back With New Episodes? 9-1-1 Season 7, Episode 6 Premiere Date

The next new episode of 9-1-1 — aka Season 7, Episode 6 — premieres on Thursday, May 2 from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. ET with next-day streaming on Hulu.

ABC’s official logline for 9-1-1 Season 7, Episode 6, “There Goes the Groom” is as follows: “After years of anticipation, Maddie and Chimney’s long-awaited wedding day arrives. However, when the groom mysteriously vanishes, the 118 races against time to ensure he doesn’t miss the most crucial day of his life.”

How Many Episodes Are In 9-1-1 Season 7?

9-1-1 Season 5 and Season 6 were larger 18-episode seasons, but as a result of 2023 WGA and SAG-AFRTA strike delays and schedule changes, 9-1-1 Season 7 will be a shorter season, with only 10 episodes. While fans may be upset there’s only half a season left after the April hiatus ends, we’ve got good news…
