Bethenny Frankel shared an inside look into her new New York City apartment following her break-up with Paul Bernon.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum posted a video to her Instagram on Thursday of her walking around her 1,300 square foot, two-bedroom, two-bathroom prewar apartment in the Upper West Side.
Frankel didn’t disclose how much she bought the property, but a similar two-bedroom unit in the same building sold for $1.975 million in January.
“Wanna see my new apartment in New York City? Let’s go!” Frankel began.
Frankel, 53, first showed the entryway into her apartment which features a black table with a clear vase filled with sprawling brown branches and white flowers.
The Skinnygirl founder paid homage to the Big Apple by placing a massive black apple over a coffee table book next to the vase. She completed the look with a few other coffee table books on the shelves as well.
The entryway also includes a “makeshift mudroom” with a tall wooden closet with hooks at the top and drawers at the bottom.
“Then we enter into the living room,” she narrated.
Frankel briefly panned over an L-shaped gray couch with dark gray suede pillows that faced a white marble center table with a matching flower arrangement and red apple figures as the entryway.
The back of the living room opened up to a dining nook with a white and gray marble table surrounded by a gray couch and matching chairs.
“This is my little dining nook. I wanted this to feel like a living dining room, so I chose a banquette that was in stock. Also, I wanted it to look like it was custom,” she said.
Before walking to her “beautiful” kitchen, she showcased a small kitchen island with stools. She also showed a small bar area with a mirror above a few bar accessories.
The kitchen itself had matching light brown wooden floors and cabinets with a white marble counter, gold and white sink, black oven and black microwave.
From there, she walked through a hallway to show Jamie Young Company lights on her ceilings and a modern powder room with gray tiling and a floating white toilet before making her way to the primary bedroom.
“OK, this is my beautiful and cozy bedroom. This wall and the end tables are attached. That was really important to me, that it felt like a custom piece,” she said while recording the room.
Frankel’s Crate and Barrel bed spanned the entire wall with its brown wooden bed frame before connecting to matching floating wooden nightstands. She dressed the bed with white sheets, gray suede pillows and a matching gray blanket.
The bedroom also featured white and gray wallpaper with a leaf pattern on the ceiling. Frankel told Forbes in an interview Friday that she actually found the wallpaper at Lowes and had it delivered via Instacart.
The same wallpaper was also included in her “beautiful custom closet” which housed beige drawers and dozens of shelves for shoes and purses.
“So, this apartment is intended to be a hotel suite like a pied-à-terre in New York City,” she explained.
Of course, Frankel also showed off her 13-year-old daughter, Bryn’s room, which included a daybed with a trundle so it would be “efficient” for any sleepovers.
“She loves it so much,” she said while showing the tan daybed with white bedding and a pink blanket.
The room also featured similar gray floral wallpaper on the ceiling, a white couch, a vanity with a neon sign and an en suite bathroom.
“I really wanted this space to feel intimate and cozy. It’s a lot of use what you have. I had a lot of this stuff already. I used some trickery and have bought really well. I even have things from the dollar store. I love this place,” she gushed.
In true New York City fashion, Frankel has lived in multiple apartments throughout the city but took a break from the hustle and bustle to live full-time in her $5 million home in Bridgehampton.
The “Apprentice” runner-up’s move comes less than a month after her split from Bernon. They had been together for over six years.
