Illinois Dem Samantha Steele mocks cop’s penis size during drunk driving arrest

An Illinois Democrat official was nabbed for drunk driving during a chaotic traffic stop over the weekend — during which she repeatedly asked an arresting officer if his penis “was that small.”

Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Samantha Steele, 45, was questioned by police after she supposedly drove into another vehicle on a Chicago street around 8:49 p.m. Sunday, WBEZ reported.

Both cars had “extensive” damage, the outlet said, citing a police report.

Steele’s eyes were “bloodshot and glassy,” an officer wrote in the report.

“I also detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from her breath as she spoke,” they added.

Officers saw an open bottle of red wine on the passenger side floor of Steele’s car, and the commissioner refused to perform sobriety tests.

During her arrest, Steele “repeatedly said, ‘Is your penis that small?’” to an officer, the police report read.

The incident took place in Chicago late Sunday, according to police records. Google Maps

When asked how much she had to drink, Steele also shot back, “I want my lawyer, and I’m not talking to you.”

She was arrested after she complained about head injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment, per WBEZ.

She was charged with one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of alcohol, and is due in court on Dec. 27, according to the Chicago Police Department.

Steele, who lives in Evanston, did not immediately return The Post’s request for a comment Wednesday morning.

She was first elected to the Board of Review in 2022, WBEZ reported.

She represents the board’s District 2, which includes most of Chicago’s North Side and surrounding suburbs.

Earlier this year, one of Steele’s aides filed a federal whistleblower lawsuit against her and her chief of staff, alleging that he was unjustly fired in the spring.

The Board of Review did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment on Steele’s arrest.
