Captain Lee Rosbach’s ripped physique at age 74 is the result of hard work and dedication.
“I go to the gym almost every day. Almost every day, I watch my diet,” he tells Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast while promoting his new Oxygen series, “Deadly Waters with Captain Lee.”
“I try to eat properly,” he continues, though the hunky “Below Deck” alum admits he has “weak spots” for certain foods that he’ll deviate from his typical diet.
Rosbach notes that his No. 1 cheat treat is wife Mary Anne’s chocolate pie.
“Mary Anne makes the best chocolate pie I’ve ever had in my life. And she makes the filling with real [chocolate]. She starts out with a real chocolate bar. She makes everything from scratch and it is the best in the world, ever,” he shares.
“I [would rather] not eat all day than not be able to have that piece of chocolate pie.”
While Rosbach isn’t afraid to give in to his sweet tooth, he hardly misses a day of working out.
The reality star tells “Virtual Reali-Tea” that he strategically targets certain muscle groups on different days throughout the week.
“I have different days that I work different body parts. I have chest day, chest and arms. I’ll work a certain part of my arms,” he explains.
“It might be chest and triceps because those two work and play off of each other. On back day, I’ll do back and biceps.”
Rosbach never neglects his lower body — even if he isn’t a fan of leg day.
“Hell no, I don’t like it,” he says with a laugh. “I don’t know anybody that does!”

When asked for this thoughts on Hollywood’s ongoing Ozempic craze, the “Couch Talk with Captain Lee and Kate” co-host asserts that he isn’t interested in taking the trendy weight loss drug to aid in his fitness regime.
“What you see, that’s what you get,” he says. “I feel fortunate to be part of the lucky gene pool and what isn’t effected by the lucky gene pool I can usually effect by diet and exercise and working out.”
In between sweat sessions — and, of course, chocolate pie cravings — Rosbach made time to host “Deadly Waters,” a true-crime series that exposes the nefarious intentions of those who thought they could get away with crimes by committing them on the water.
“It took some getting used to because it’s totally unlike ‘Below Deck’ and the fact that you’re dealing with real life and people’s lives are affected in a very dramatic fashion. So, you need to be very careful how you handle that,” he says of the project.
“I had a great time, though, and I’m excited to share these stories with a new audience,” he adds. “It’s pretty impactful stuff.”
“Deadly Waters with Captain Lee” premieres Saturday at 9 p.m. ET on Oxygen.
