Hospitals Harming Children Targeted In New Campaign To Stop Child Gender Transitions

Four hospitals that promote irreversible transgender procedures for children will be the target of an ad campaign launching this week, The Daily Wire has learned.

The American Parents Coalition will launch a six-figure campaign Tuesday targeting Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Children’s Minnesota, Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. The numbers used in the campaign are from the Stop The Harm Database, which identifies the number of child sex change patients, surgeries, prescriptions, and financial stakes of the extremely controversial gender intervention procedures.

“Parents deserve to know the truth about the irreversible damage these hospitals are doing to children through gender interventions right in their own backyards,” American Parents Coalition Executive Director Alleigh Marré told The Daily Wire.

“Sex-change surgeries, puberty blockers, and cross-sex hormones are not treatments – they are interventions that create lifelong patients and customers,” she added. “Hospitals are allowing activists and politics to cloud the indisputable data showing the risks and damage associated with these procedures.”

The campaign will include mobile billboards at each of the hospitals that highlight how many children are being harmed by these procedures, as well as targeted digital ads in each of the states.

In D.C., for example, the campaign will highlight that Children’s National Medical Center has allegedly harmed 49 children: the hospital has had two surgery patients, 47 total hormone and puberty blocker patients, and 402 total prescriptions written, amounting to $67,293 in total submitted charges, according to the “Stop The Harm” database.

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, dubbed the number-one offender by the American Parents Coalition, has had an alleged total of 122 sex change patients, five surgery patients, 117 hormone and puberty blocker patients, and 768 total prescriptions written, according to the group — totaling at $230,784 in submitted charges.

The American Parents Coalition will send a “lookout” text alert to parents across the country that showcases the campaign and the dangers to children that these procedures represent.

The campaign is timely, given the massive emphasis that Donald Trump’s presidential campaign placed on transgender issues. Though Kamala Harris tried to distance herself from her past support radical stances, such as tax-payer transgender surgeries for illegal immigrants and federal prisoners, Trump and his campaign effectively used her remarks to show the American people how out of touch she was on this topic.

The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on December 4 in U.S. v. Skrmetti, which revolves around the constitutionality of laws protecting children from transgender interventions, such as hormones, puberty blockers, and surgeries. The case arose when the American Civil Liberties Union sued Tennessee, arguing that the state’s law protecting kids violates the equal protection rights of minors who believe they are transgender.
