Warwick, who played Filius Flitwick in the “Harry Potter” films, added that his late wife was his “most trusted confidant and an ardent supporter of everything I did in my career.”

“She was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life she had a wicked sense of humor and always laughed at my bad jokes,” he said, adding that having his wife by his side was his “superpower.”

The pair were married for more than 30 years and welcomed three children together — one of whom died nine days after he was born

Samantha co-founded the dwarfism charity Little People UK alongside her husband, which they launched in 2012.

Warwick said his wife’s health has had some touch-and-go moments in recent years, with her mobility becoming impaired.

Samantha fell ill with sepsis during a family vacation in 2019, which saw her come close to death, Warwick added.

The actor said that he and their children “sort of said goodbye” to her at the time, however, she was able to pull through and recover.

The pair met on the set of George Lucas’s film “Willow,” and tied the knot three years later in 1991.

Samantha, an actress in her own right, played a goblin in “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2.” Her husband also starred as goblin Griphook in all eight films in the franchise.

The couple’s children Annabelle, 27, and son Harrison, 21, also paid tribute to their late mother.

“Her love and happiness carried us through our whole lives,” they told the outlet. “Mum is our best friend and we’re honored to have received a love like hers.”
