“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Gizelle Bryant says castmate Karen Huger’s alleged “drunk calls” have stalled after her DUI arrest earlier this year.
“I actually miss them,” Bryant jokingly laments while chatting with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea,” adding that such calls were “a lot of fun.”
“She hasn’t done it in a while,” the “Reasonably Shady” podcast co-host says.
Last month’s “RHOP” Season 9 premiered with Bryant, 54, checking in on longtime frenemy Huger, 61, after the latter was charged with driving under the influence following a high-speed car crash in March.
In ensuing episodes, Huger has been vague when discussing the incident.
But her co-stars — namely, “friend of” the cast Jacqueline Blake — have claimed that the self-proclaimed “Grande Dame” has a history of calling her girlfriends after consuming alcohol and allegedly did so even after she was busted for drinking and driving.
“We get a lot of three o’clock in the morning drunk calls from Karen,” Bryant claims, describing Huger’s purported pattern of wanting to engage in tipsy talk.
“You never know what you’re going to hear, you never know what she’s going to say.”
In the Oct. 27 installment of “RHOP,” Mia Thornton claimed that she received a “butt dial” from Huger after a night of partying in Washington, D.C.
Thornton inferred that the La Dame fragrance founder had been unfaithful to her husband, Ray Huger, because the call was allegedly made in the presence of another male companion.
“That’s for Karen to explain,” says Bryant, who exited the scene before Thornton, 39, shared her story with the rest of the cast.
However, the “My Word” author feels certain that Karen’s alleged tryst with her driver — known amongst the “RHOP” ladies as “Blue Eyes” — is over.
“I think we’ve moved past Blue Eyes,” Bryant says, adding that Karen’s spouse has been a pillar of support for Karen in the wake of her brush with the law.
“Ray is always extremely supportive of her,” she emphasizes. “And I’m happy she has him.”
In July, per docs obtained by People, Karen asked the court to dismiss her DUI case but prosecutors are opposing the motion which has yet to be ruled by the judge.
“The Real Housewives of Potomac” airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
