Sunday’s Netflix roast of Tom Brady left his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, feeling “deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family,” an insider told People on Monday.
Bündchen, whose divorce from the seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback was finalized in October 2022, was at the center of an onslaught of jokes made by the star-studded list of attendees — including host Kevin Hart, comedian Nikki Glaser and former Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe — not to mention her romance with jiu jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.
“This past week, Gisele has been tirelessly dedicated to aiding those in need in her home state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, which is grappling with the worst flooding in its history,” the source said of Bündchen, who has advocated for aid on her Instagram page amid the devastation.
“She was concerned about family affected by the devastating floods, so to hear her life being joked about was very disappointing.”
Hart opened Sunday’s “Greatest Roast of All Time” by mocking Brady’s divorce, stating, “When you got a chance to go 8-9 and all it will cost you is your wife and your kids, you gotta do what the f–k you gotta do.’
The comedian then took aim at Valente, whom Bündchen has reportedly been seeing since June 2023.

“How did you not see this coming?” Hart continued. “Eight f–king karate classes a day and she’s still a white belt!”
The insider told People on Monday that Bündchen, who co-parents son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, with Brady, 46, is focused on her family amid the fallout.
“As always, [Bündchen’s] priority is to support her children who were affected by the irresponsible content that was broadcasted,” the source said.
Bledsoe mocked Brady over his split from Bündchen, quipping he’s experienced a “28th wedding anniversary” and his former protege has not.
“You have seven rings. Well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back,” Glaser jabbed at Brady.
Brady and Bündchen had been married for 13 years before calling it quits.
Elsewhere on Monday, Glaser — who also referenced Brady’s ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan, during the roast — said on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show that the group decided not to make jokes about the retired QB’s children.
“We all collectively just decided not to involve his kids too much in anything because they didn’t ask for that,” Glaser said.
Brady and Moynahan, who dated from 2004 to late 2006, share a son, Jack, 16.
