Geert Wilders Blasts Attack On Jews In Amsterdam

Geert Wilders, the leader of the largest party in the Netherlands’ House of Representatives and a staunch supporter of Israel, released a statement after anti-Semites en masse viciously attacked Jews after a soccer match in Amsterdam.

After President-elect Donald Trump won a decisive victory on Tuesday night, Wilders, who had endorsed Trump, wrote on X, “Patriots are winning elections all over the world. The liberal-leftish woke driven nihilists are full of disbelief and hate and unfit to give the people what they truly want: freedom and their own nation first, their own people first and most of all no more illegal immigration.”

In the wake of the horrific attacks on Jews Thursday night, Wilders, known for his hardline views on immigration and opposition to Islam conceivably taking over the Netherlands, wrote, “Looks like a Jew hunt in the streets of Amsterdam. Arrest and deport the multicultural scum that attacked Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters in our streets. Ashamed that this can happen in The Netherlands. Totally unacceptable.”

“A pogrom in the streets of #Amsterdam,” he continued. “We have become the Gaza of Europe. Muslims with Palestinian flags hunting down Jews. I will NOT accept that. NEVER. The authorities will be held accountable for their failure to protect the Israeli citizens. Never again.”

“Condemning the Amsterdam Jew hunt is not enough,” he stated. “The perpetrators must be expelled from the country. I have been warning for over twenty years about the growing hatred of Jews in the Netherlands due to the ongoing mass immigration and Islamization of our country. I want an emergency debate with @MinPres Schoof.”

In May 2024, Wilders told the Dutch Parliament:

I lived in Israel for a while, a long time ago. I’ve seen it too. Then it was still from Jordan where the terrorists entered. I also experienced what it was like when those terrorists crossed the border and how you had to take shelter in air raid shelters. And how then the army, with helicopters and magnesium bombs lightings, looked where people were, to protect their population.

“I know one thing, it’s hatred from these kinds of Islamic groups like Hamas, the Islamic Jihad group, and also Hezbollah,” he continued. “There are many of those groups. And they deny the Jewish state’s right to exist.”

“They are being attacked by people who want a country and a people not to exist,” he said Israel. “That’s not what Israel does. Israel puts the Arabs in the Knesset, in parliament. In Israel, they are full-fledged citizens, who are better off living in Israel than living in the Palestinian territories. Israel does not attack another country and has never attacked another country without first being attacked itself. Not in the Yom Kippur war and not in any war.”

“And for me and my political party, it is not difficult to see with whom we stand in solidarity,” he concluded. “Are we with the Jewish people, who are fighting for their existence, or are we with Islamic extremists, terrorist scum who want to exterminate them? And I tell you, until the very end, I support the State of Israel.”
