Freddie Freeman’s wife celebrates his historic World Series home run

Freddie Freeman’s torrid World Series continued Monday night with another home run against the Yankees.

And his wife Chelsea was there to witness it once again, taking to Instagram to celebrate the Dodgers first baseman’s first-inning two-run homer, marking the fifth straight World Series game he’s homered in, tying an MLB record.

“!!!!!!!! Another Free 💣,” Chelsea wrote on her Instagram story over a video of Freeman’s home run.

The 35-year-old Freeman, who is playing on a bum ankle, hit a walk-off grand slam in Game 1 of the World Series with two outs for a 6-3 Dodgers win.

He then hit a home run in the third inning of the Dodgers’ 4-2 Game 2 win on Saturday.

Chelsea Freeman also posted photos on her Instagram of her in the stands at Yankee Stadium.

Freddie Freeman’s World Series home run streak started in 2021, when he homered in Games 5 and 6 as the Braves won the Fall Classic over the Astros.

The Freeman family has been through a difficult year, as one of the couple’s three sons, 3-year-old Maximus, was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome and was hospitalized in early August.

Chelsea shared an update on her son later that month.

“We have seen a lot of progress in the last week and a half. Max is mostly sleeping through the night again. He is sitting unassisted and even started army crawling the last few days. Our life consists of doctor appointments, physical therapy, and lots of pool time,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

Chelsea provided another encouraging update earlier this month, saying “Max is getting closer and closer to being his normal rambunctious self.”
