A brave sister-of-the-bride wasted no time giving a slithering wedding crasher in Arizona the boot.
Erika Rodriguez was celebrating her sister’s wedding in Florence on Sunday when a snake snuck its way into the festivities.
Video posted on TikTok shows Rodriguez, in an orange dress for the occasion, casually picking up the serpentine interloper by the tail as other guests watch in awe.
“Erika, you’re’ f—king wild!” an onlooker yells in the clip, which has been viewed over one million times on the social media site.
Grasping the snake in her bare hand a safe distance in front of her, she marches it away from the party into the surrounding brush, her other hand holding up her dress so it wouldn’t drag on the ground.
“Weddings in Arizona,” read the caption over the videos, shared by Rodriguez’ other sister, Sandra.
It’s certainly a wedding the guests won’t forget.
“The snake kept making appearances in the little cocktail area,” Erika told Fox10 Phoenix. “The worker had tried to catch him, but he flipped onto the steps and the deck right there. He came out again.”
When the employee didn’t come back, she decided to take matters into her own hands — literally.
After dumping the serpent, she was rewarded with a beer from the bar.
Rodriguez credited growing up watching the late Steve Irwin for her bravery.
“As a kid, I was very tomboyish, so I was outside catching grasshoppers and toads and snakes and whatever I could,” she told the outlet.
It’s just always been who she is. She loves animals. She’s always been adventurous,” her sister Sandra added. “She is not afraid of anything literally.”
Impressed suitors have been courting the young snake wrangler in the comment section of the videos.
“I need her contact and ring size please,” one user wrote.
“Definitely wife material right there,” another said.
“I didn’t use to believe in love at first site….but here we are,” a man commented.
