British soccer legend Harry Kane’s three children were rushed to the hospital following a three-car collision in Germany.
Kane’s kids — Ivy, 7, Vivienne, 5, and Louis, 3 — were all traveling in a Mercedes van when it collided with a Renault and a Land Rover just after 5 p.m. in Bavaria on Monday.
Kane, captain of England’s national team and its all-time top goal scorer, touched down in London at the time of the ordeal. His team Bayern Munich faced Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-final Tuesday. They drew 2-2.
Officials said Kane’s children are doing well after sustaining minor injuries.
“There was a crash, but the kids are fine, and none were injured,” Kane’s rep told The Post. “They went to hospital for a routine check-up.”
Bavarian police said that the 20-year-old driver in the Renault turned into a junction and collided with the back of the Mercedes that was turning into a side road.
Images from the scene showed the luxe vehicle carrying Kane’s children with a crumbled hood from the impact.
Fire department officials told the BBC that Kane’s kids were “very lucky to not have suffered serious injuries in the crash.”
Hohenschäftlarn Volunteer Fire Department chief Daniel Buck said that all vehicles sustained “a lot of damage” and the “first thing that we were seeing was a lot of injured people from all the cars.”
Local police said in a statement this week, “On Monday, April 8th, 2024, around 5:15 p.m., a 20-year-old resident of Munich was driving a Renault car on state road 2071 towards the A95.”
“A 48-year-old, a 43-year-old and a three-year-old (all of whom live in Munich) were also passengers in the 20-year-old’s car,” the statement continued.
“At the same time, a 24-year-old resident of the Munich district was also driving a Mercedes car on State Road 2071 in the opposite direction.”
“There were three children between the ages of five and seven in the 24-year-old’s vehicle (all of whom lived in the Munich district).”
All nine people involved in the accident suffered minor injuries.
They were taken to hospitals by helicopter and emergency services, among other things. The 62-year-old went to the doctor herself,” the statement added.
The damage caused amounted to tens of thousands of dollars, officials said.
Kane’s wife Kate and his youngest child, son Henry who was born in August, were not in the vehicle during the ordeal, according to The Guardian.
The Post has reached out to Bavarian State Police for further comment.
Kane joined Bayern Munich in August 2023 after the club and Tottenham agreed on a deal worth more than $106,750,500 (USD) for the star, becoming the most expensive player in the history of Germany’s Bundesliga
