Just another day at work.
Elizabeth Hurley appears in raunchy scenes in her son Damian’s movie, “Strictly Confidential,” and viewers are slamming it as “perverse.”
“I have a bunch of questions about this, yet I don’t want to know the answer to any of them. Here’s one such question: Why is Elizabeth Hurley’s son directing his mother’s sex scenes? This is extremely creepy and disturbing,” one viewer posted on X, formerly Twitter.
Elizabeth, 58, had her son Damian, 21, with American businessman Steve Bing, who died by suicide in 2020 at age 55. (Bing and Hurley weren’t together at the time of his death). Damian’s godfather is Hurley’s famous ex, Hugh Grant, 63.
In the teaser for the movie released Thursday, Hurley’s character, Lily, stands outside when another woman walks over to her.
“Natasha,” Hurley says while staring at her co-star Pear Chiravara.
The two women then share an intimate kiss. Later in the trailer, their steamy scene gets raunchier.
The movie is about group of friends and family members returning to an island one year after their loved one Rebecca (Lauren McQueen) seemingly dies by suicide. However, when secrets and affairs come to light, questions arise over whether Rebecca really died by her own hand – or somebody else’s.
Damian shared several behind-the-scenes photos in an Instagram post in December 2022, where he also wrote, “I want to worship @ElizabethHurley1 who, during the making of my first ever short film back in 2010 (when I was 8) promised me she’d be in my first feature; true to her word, the minute this film was greenlit, Mama dropped everything and raced out to the beautiful Caribbean to help. Working together was a dream.”
Other viewers of the trailer said, “Salute to this pervert son,” and “The fact this dude is directing his mom in sex scenes shows you how cooked Hollywood is.”
On Elizabeth and Damian’s Instagram accounts where they both shared the trailer, comments say, “Weird her son is directing her in that sex scene,” and “So you’re saying in 2024 it’s normal to watch your mother simulate sex and for you to film it?”
Another Instagram commenter wrote, “You directed and wrote a scene with your mum having it off with another woman…? That’s f–cked.”
A fourth person said, “Dude wrote a scene where his mom makes out with a girl? Ahaha wot.”
“These people are utterly perverse,” one viewer slammed on Hurley’s Instagram. “A son directing his mother to do this and a mother agreeing to it? In what world is this normal behavior? Shameful.”
However, other viewers simply said, “Look forward to seeing this film” and “I can’t wait to see this.”
“Strictly Confidential” premieres April 5.
