Author J.K. Rowling responded after radical trans activists swarmed a Paris event, chanting calls for violence and even murder in French: “A TERF, a bullet, social justice.”
The transgender activists, gathered outside Assas University, were calling specifically for violence against authors Dora Moutot and Marguerite Stern as they gave a talk about the issues addressed in their new book questioning gender ideology, “Transmania.”
“« A TERF, A BULLET, SOCIAL JUSTICE » : a crowd of transgender activists called for the murder of @Margueritestern and I, in front of the police, at Assas University. (We gave a conference on our book #Transmania.) Yes, this is where we’re at. Please, let the world know what is going on in France,” Moutot captioned video of the incident.

Moutot included a translation of what she and Stern could be heard saying in the video as well.
“Incredible … I will file a lawsuit,” Stern said as she was escorted by a police officer. “Did you hear what they are saying, Dora? Did you get it? ‘A TERF, a bullet, social justice.’”
“They have no shame,” Moutot could be heard replying from behind the camera. “How can they say that in front of police?”
Rowling responded to the video, saying, “This is domestic terrorism.”

Moutot also spoke about the book during a recent appearance on GB News, where she said that even though she viewed herself as a feminist “from the Left,” the moment she had begun to question the gender identity orthodoxy, no one on the Left would talk to her or even consider publishing her book.
Things had not gotten any better since it was published, she explained, as multiple stores had refused to sell it right from the start and transgender activists were still calling for the ones who did stock it to get rid of it.
The reactions to the book, Moutot said, were “really good on the right-wing and really bad on the rest of the spectrum.”
