She forgot that he existed.
Vick Hope, wife of EDM artist Calvin Harris, secretly listens to Taylor Swift‘s songs — the moment Harris, 40, is out of earshot.
“As soon as my husband goes away, I listen to Taylor Swift,” Hope, 34, said on her BBC radio show “Going Home with Vick, Katie and Jamie” on Monday.
“That’s just when I get my little fill — just a little fill,” the British radio personality continued, prompting laughter from Katie Thistleton, 34, and Jamie Laing.
“Just a couple of songs, get it out of my system and then it’s done,” she added.
Thistleton tries to be sensitive to the fact that her husband and the 14-time Grammy winner dated for 15 months between March 2015 and 2016.
Shortly after confessing, several Swities took to X (formerly Twitter) to express the hilarity of the situation.
“Vic Hope for prime minister,” laughed one user.
“I heard this live almost crashed the car,” a second user said. “She’s a queen.”
“She’s collecting her exes’ wives like they’re infinity stones,” a third person cackled, referring to how Sophie Turner and Taylor Lautner are also massive fans of the “Midnights” hitmaker.
“She’s a beautiful, confident woman with a great sense of humor,” a fourth fan praised. “She knows she has nothing to worry about, everyone has exes they just aren’t usually as worldwide famous and adored as his!”
Harris, who inspired many of Swift’s hits, was first romantically linked to Hope in early 2022 and were rumored to be engaged in May of the same year.
In September 2023, the pair were officially married at a sprawling estate in North East England.
Since tying the knot, Harris and Hope have attempted to keep their relationship relatively private, however, the pair have recently been spotted at various high-profile events together including the 2024 Grammys.
During the awards show, Swift and Harris had a brief run-in as the “Red” singer was late arriving at her seat.
After being called out by Trevor Noah, who was hosting the awards show, Harris was seen looking over his shoulder at his ex and joined in the audience’s round of applause.
The gesture supposedly showed there was no “bad blood” between the two former lovers.
