Blue Ivy Carter is almost as tall as Jay-Z at Grammys 2024

Jay-Z may have won the prize, but all eyes were on Blue Ivy Carter.

The eldest child of the rapper and his wife, Beyoncé, joined her dad onstage Sunday night at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena as he accepted the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award at the 2024 Grammys.

Blue, 12, stunned in a cream-colored off-the-shoulder dress, which she paired with chunky white booties and a matching clutch.

The preteen — who spent last year performing with her mom on the “Renaissance” world tour — completed her look with long braids and a glossy lip.

Blue smiled as she stood next to her 6-foot-2 father, bearing almost the same height.

“I used to say this was a sippy cup for Blue, but Blue’s grown now,” Jay-Z — who wore a black suit with an unbuttoned black shirt underneath — said into the mic, referring to his 2014 acceptance speech. “She doesn’t take sippy cups and has her own Grammy!”

Indeed, in 2021, Blue became the second youngest artist ever to win a coveted Gramophone for her mother’s song “Brown Skin Girl” in the category of best music video.

Blue, who was 9 at the time, received a writing credit for the track.

During his acceptance speech Sunday, Jay-Z, 54, also took a moment to shade the Recording Academy in honor of Beyoncé, who made history at the 2023 Grammys by becoming the artist with the most wins ever.

The “Break My Soul” chart-topper, 42, has earned 32 awards.

“I don’t wanna embarrass this young lady, but she has won more Grammys than anyone and never won album of the year. So even by your own metrics, that doesn’t work,” the “99 Problems” hitmaker stated sternly.

“Think about that: the most Grammys; never won album of the year,” he added as cameras panned over to his spouse, who stood stoically in the audience.

“Some of you will go home tonight and feel like you’ve been robbed. Some of you may get robbed. Some of you don’t belong in the category.”

Cameras then captured Beyoncé — who rocked a bedazzled Western ensemble for music’s biggest night — flashing a somewhat uncomfortable smile as her husband went on to say, “When I get nervous, I tell the truth.”

He then grabbed his daughter’s hand and reminded the crowd that “in life, you gotta keep showing up … until they give you all those accolades you feel you deserve.”

Jay-Z — who has won 24 Grammys in his career — and Beyoncé married in April 2008. They are also parents to 6-year-old twins Rumi and Sir Carter.
