The Biden-Harris administration has implemented diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies throughout the federal government through at least 500 different actions, according to a new report.
“The Biden-Harris Administration has taken steps to ensure that DEI infiltrates every nook and cranny of the federal government, from healthcare agencies to national security,” the report from Do No Harm explains. “On day one of his administration, President Biden issued Executive Order 13985, entitled -Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government.’”
The report found that over 80 federal entities took DEI actions, though some were particularly prolific. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Environmental Protection Agency took or planned 13 and 22 respectively, while the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) took or planned 26 DEI actions, including holding “its first virtual LGBTQI+ Vendor Equity Forum.”
The Department of Agriculture took or planned 21 DEI actions, including reimagining “many of our food and agricultural programs from an indigenous perspective” and pursuing the “development and expansion of indigenous animal processing capacity.”
More obscure federal entities also pursued DEI actions, with the Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission taking or planning five actions and the American Battle Monuments taking or planning six.
The report comes as former President Donald Trump has pledged to reverse the “woke takeover” of the federal government and urge Congress to “establish a restitution fund for those unjustly discriminated against by these destructive policies,” warning against anti-white racism.
“Discrimination has no place in our society and certainly not in our federal government. This report documents hundreds of examples of harmful identity politics leads to differing governmental programs depending on race or sexual orientation,” said Dr. Stanley Goldfarb, the Chairman of Do No Harm, a coalition dedicated to fighting the politicization of the medical field. “It is alarming that these programs, including in the way government regulates medicine and cares for our veterans, not only were implemented but encouraged and celebrated.”
Agencies that are critical to America’s national security weren’t insulated from the Biden-Harris administration’s DEI efforts. The State Department outlined its plans to “embed racial equity and justice across the Department by providing technical assistance for bureau-specific Racial Equity and Justice Frameworks” while the Department of Defense embraced “gender analysis in DoD policy guidance.”
The Daily Wire has revealed the spread of DEI ideology throughout the federal government, including in America’s national intelligence community and military. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the cabinet-level intelligence office, produced and disseminated a DEI newsletter called “The Dive,” that showcased the extreme nature of the ideology.
One copy obtained by The Daily Wire warned intelligence agents to avoid using “problematic phrases” when discussing Islamic terrorism and celebrated one agent who said that cross-dressing in the workplace made him a better intelligence agent. The ODNI took nine DEI actions, Do No Harm’s report explains, including one effort to mitigate “intelligence officer bias on issues of equity” and another to “raise awareness of the ways equity issues are impacted by foreign policy decisions.”
The National Security Agency created a DEI glossary including terms like “white fragility,” “settler colonialism,” and “transmisogyny,” openly referencing the work of Critical Race Theorists, The Daily Wire revealed in an exclusive investigation.
The State Department has also adopted the DEI agenda, even hiring Special Envoys tasked with fighting the “global scourges” of “structural racism, discrimination, and xenophobia” and pushing transgender ideology across the world.
Goldfarb explained that the federal government is tasked with preventing discrimination, but has instead embraced an ideology under the Biden-Harris administration that instead opens the door to discrimination.
“Though it’s no surprise activists and politicians have pushed this corrosive ideology, that DEI has permeated our institutions of power to such a degree in less than four years reminds us why it is so important to stand up for merit and equality, not equity and division,” the Do No Harm chairman went on to say. “The same government that is charged with protecting the American people from discrimination cannot also perpetuate it. Our leaders must root this out and return to our founding principles.”
