Amy Duggar King slammed her cousin Josh Duggar, saying in a new interview that he “deserves every second” of his 12-year prison sentence for child pornography.
“I hope every day there is absolute torture for him,” King, 37, told People.
She added, “I really hope that because what he watched and what he was viewing for his own fulfillment is those kids experiencing torture.”
King furthered that she hopes her cousin — whose prison sentence was extended in 2023 — “messes up again.”
“He deserves every second in there, and I hope he gets a longer term,” she told the outlet.
In 2021, Duggar, 36, was found guilty on one count each of receiving and possessing child pornography.
The “19 Kids and Counting” alum had downloaded child pornography on his work computer.
During the trial, a DOJ agent testified that Duggar had allegedly downloaded a video of a 3-month-old girl being tortured and sexually abused.
Prosecutors previously alleged that Duggar downloaded at least 65 images and videos of girls as young as 5.
Duggar was originally sentenced to 12-and-a-half years for his crimes.
His sentence was extended another two months in March 2023 after he was found with a contraband phone in his cell.
It wasn’t the first time the former Christian conservative lobbyist — who shares seven kids with wife Anna Duggar — had been in trouble.
“19 Kids and Counting” premiered on TLC in 2008 but was abruptly canceled in 2015 after news broke that Josh had admitted molesting five young girls, including four of his sisters, when he was a teenager in the early 2000s.
The reality series focused on Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their extremely large brood of offspring. It showcased their belief in Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP), a nondenominational Christian organization founded by Bill Gothard.
When the Josh is released from prison in October 2032, he will still be under a strict probation period for 20 years.
He will not be permitted to have unsupervised contact with minors, including his own children.
