Aaron Taylor-Johnson, wife Sam enjoy rare red carpet date night after James Bond casting rumors

Aaron Taylor-Johnson enjoyed a rare date night with his wife Sam.

The pair were all smiles as they stepped out together in London to attend the premiere of the Amy Winehouse biopic titled “Back to Black,” which Sam, 57, directed.

The duo stuck true to the film’s title and each donned an all-black ensemble for the occasion.

Sam opted for a long black dress which she paired with a black leather belt and peep-toe heels.

Aaron, 33, rocked a black shirt and pants of the same color, topped off with a statement leather jacket. They each accessorized with minimal gold jewelry.

The pair met on the set of “Nowhere Boy” in 2009 when he was 18 and Sam was 42. She directed the John Lennon biopic, which Aaron starred in.

Aaron and Sam wed in 2012, and are now parents to daughters Wylda, 13, and Romy Hero, 11, as well as Angelica, 25, and Jessie, 15, from Sam’s first marriage.

Aaron recently said that he finds the public’s criticism about the pair’s 24-year age gap “bizarre.”

In an interview with Rolling Stone UK, the actor reminded fans that he’s an older soul thanks to his child acting days.

“What you gotta realize is that what most people were doing in their 20s, I was doing when I was 13,” Aaron told the outlet about starting his professional career at 6 years old.

“You’re doing something too quickly for someone else? I don’t understand that. What speed are you supposed to enjoy life at? It’s bizarre to me,” he added.

It comes as Aaron was reportedly “formerly offered” the role of iconic martini-sipping secret agent James Bond last month.

Should he accept the deal, the “Tenet” actor will take over the reins from Daniel Craig, who starred as Bond in a total of five films spanning over 15 years.

EON Productions, which makes 007 films, is said to be preparing to start shooting later this year.

Craig, 56, was in his 30s when he signed on for the role.

After playing Bond in the 2006 film “Casino Royale,” he went on to star in “Quantum of Solace,” “Skyfall” and “Spectre,” before his final hurrah in 2021’s “No Time To Die.”

Taylor-Johnson, for his part, reportedly underwent a screen test for the Bond franchise in 2022.
