Jonathan Majors is engaged to Meagan Good.
The couple shared the big news at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles on Sunday night. Good, 43, flashed her engagement ring while posing for pictures with Majors, 35.
“We’re feeling great,” Good told People at the event.
“It’s a season of joy,” added Majors, as Good said, “It’s a season of all the good things.”
The pair told E! News that they revealed their engagement at the gala because it’s where they met two years ago.
“EBONY Power 100 is the event that we met at in the bathrooms, in the unisex bathroom,” Good shared.
Majors and Good became a couple in May 2023. Good was previously married to pastor DeVon Franklin from 2012 until their split in Dec. 2021. They finalized their divorce in June 2022.
The “One Missed Call” actress stood by Majors when he went to trial for his assault and harassment scandal, which cost him his job playing Kang the Conqueror in Marvel.
Majors was arrested on March 25, 2023 after he and his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, got into a domestic dispute while taking a taxi home from a bar in Brooklyn. Majors argued that he was innocent and Jabbari was the aggressor.
After a two-week trial, Majors was convicted in December 2023.
In April, he was sentenced to a 52-week in-person domestic violence intervention program. He will go to jail for six months if he fails to complete the program.
Good was fiercely loyal to Majors during his assault trial. During an appearance on “Today with Hoda and Jenna” last summer, Good defended her relationship with the “Creed III” actor.
“At the end of the day, one thing I know is I can always look at myself in the mirror when I trust my spirit, when I trust God, when I ask God, and when I move to the beat of my own drum,” she said.
Good added that she “take[s] everyone I love’s opinion and advice into account for sure,” in regards to dating Majors, but she has to “live my life.”
After his conviction, Majors was dropped by Marvel, as well as his talent manager, Entertainment 360, and his publicity firm, the Lede Company. He also lost his role in the upcoming film “The Man in My Basement.”
Majors played Kang in “Ant-Man 3” and “Loki.” He was also signed to appear as the time-traveling supervillain in “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” in 2026 and “Avengers: Secret Wars” in 2027 before he was fired.
The actor has since been replaced as Marvel’s next big baddie by Robert Downey Jr., who is returning to the franchise to play Doctor Doom.
Majors told TMZ he was “heartbroken” by Marvel’s decision in July.
