Knicks’ Josh Hart trolls Mikal Bridges after Nets question

Josh Hart wasn’t having it.

The Knicks star posted on Instagram a picture series of himself serving as a host on ESPN’s NBA Finals coverage.

Nets star Mikal Bridges, who was teammates with Hart at Villanova, commented “Come to the Nets?”

Hart then trolled Bridges.

“@mikalbridges are you ok?” Hart responded. “If they have you hostage just blink and we’ll save you.”

Bridges is notably entering the final season of his contract with the Nets, and his name has been circulated in a plethora of rumors the other way around — to join the Knicks, either via a trade before this year or in free agency next year.

He was college teammates with the Knicks’ Villanova trio of Hart, Jalen Brunson and Donte DiVincenzo, and the four of them remain close friends.

Bridges revealed last year that he wanted the Knicks to draft him in 2018, but they ended up selecting Kevin Knox with the No. 8 pick.

The Nets acquired him last year from the Suns in the Kevin Durant blockbuster, and this year he averaged 19.6 points per game on 43.6 percent shooting from the field and 37.2 percent from 3-point range.

The Nets struggled through a massively disappointing season, however, finishing 32-50 and missing out on the playoffs.

The Knicks, meanwhile, earned the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference and reached the second round of the playoffs before being eliminated by the Pacers in seven games.

“It was really tough just personally,” Bridges said after the season. “I got a couple gray hairs. Wanting to win and compete and being frustrated on a lot of things. Being frustrated at myself. You just gotta go through it sometimes. You have expectations, you have goals and sometimes you don’t reach those goals. Life has a funny way of humbling you. But it’s always for the greater good.”
