Adele blasted a homophobic fan who shouted, “Pride sucks,” during her Las Vegas residency Saturday night.
The “Someone Like You” songstress briefly paused her show at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum to acknowledge the start of Pride Month when the audience member made the contentious remark.
“Did you come to my f–kin’ show and say, ‘Pride sucks?’” she asked the concertgoer. “Are you f–king stupid? Don’t be so f–king ridiculous.”
“If you’ve got nothing nice to say, shut up, alright?” Adele, 36, continued.
Several fans cheered for the 16-time Grammy winner as she briefly called out the fan while sitting on a piano bench.
Over the years, the “Hello” singer has shown her support for the LGBTQIA+ community. She even dedicated her 2016 show in Belgium to the Pulse nightclub massacre victims in Florida, per TMZ.
Reflecting on the hate crime at the gay nightclub, which left about 50 members dead, she told her audience in Europe, “The LGBTQ community, they’re like my soulmates since I was really young, so I’m very moved by it.”
Aside from standing for what she believes in, Adele hasn’t shied away from calling out concertgoers for their aggressive antics.
In July 2023, the British pop star issued a warning to fans who thought about throwing something on stage at her while she was performing.
Referencing top artists who’ve had been struck with cell phones and other miscellaneous items, she said, “Have you noticed how people are forgetting f–king show etiquette at the moment and just throwing s–t onstage?”
She continued, “Have you seen that? I f–king dare you, I dare you to throw something at me. I’ll f–king kill you.”
The hitmaker might be wrapping up her “Weekends With Adele” residency sometime soon as she seeks to expand her family with her partner, Rich Paul.
“Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby,” Adele told fans in May. “I want a girl because I’ve already got a boy.”
The “Easy On Me” singer shares 11-year-old son Angelo with ex-husband Simon Konecki.
