Other comedy podcasters are ‘better than him’

Jerry Seinfeld candidly admitted he doesn’t think Howard Stern is that funny.

The standup comedian shaded the “Howard Stern Show” radio host during Wednesday’s episode of the “Fly on the Wall” podcast.

While speaking about the popularity of podcasts, Seinfeld said that Stern basically invented the format.

“But we’re better than him now,” the “Seinfeld” star, 70, quipped.

“Howard is interesting. Howard is a great interviewer, but comedy chops, I mean, can we speak candidly?” he asked hosts Dana Carvey and David Spade.

Spade, 59, responded, “Sure,” while Carvey said, “No.”

Carvey, 68, said Stern’s show is slightly comical thanks to his longtime co-host, Robin Quivers.

“Yeah, they’re all great but let’s face it, he’s been outflanked,” Seinfeld said.

The producer furthered there are better comedy podcasts on the air, including Carvey and Spade’s show.

“This is the best one on the air,” Seinfeld continued. “Because you guys play nice together, it’s smooth, you’re not jumping on each other, which is annoying to listen to.”

Reps for Stern weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.

Aside from Seinfeld, Stern has made a few enemies during his decades-long career.

Last year, the media personality’s former radio rival Mancow Muller — born Matthew Erich Muller — took the opportunity to slam Stern for vile comments he made in the ’90s.

During the “Dark Side of the 2000s” docuseries, Muller opened up about their feud, sharing that Stern publicly bashed him and threatened to “rape” him at a time when his dad was battling terminal cancer.

“My father was a $30,000 a year cabinet maker and he became the number one topic on Stern’s show for a year,” Muller said.

“The countdown to his death, how he was going to have sex with my mother,” he recalled. “How he was gonna use my mother’s saliva on himself when he raped me, how he was gonna dig up my father’s corpse, he told his listeners to go to my father’s funeral.”

Stern also has a 30-year feud with Kathie Lee Gifford.

The “Way” star previously revealed that Stern “hated [her] guts” despite never meeting him during an appearance on the “Today” show in 2018.
