It’s safe to say there’s no bad blood between Emily Blunt and Taylor Swift.
Appearing on the “Howard Stern Show” on April 29, Blunt, 41, spoke a recent encounter that she had with Swift involving her daughter, Hazel, 10, whom she shares with “The Office” actor John Krasinski.
After Stern pointed out that “The Fall Guy” star is admittedly a Swiftie and asked Blunt whether she had met the singer, the actress told the host that she had and that Swift is “the nicest.”
“She was so nice to my kids,” she said.
“My oldest kid had just cut all of her hair off, this very short haircut that she was very self-conscious about,” Blunt continued. “And Taylor Swift, goes like, ‘God, look at you, you’re just like this ‘60s Beatnik cool kid. I just, I love your style.’”
Naturally, the pre-teen was wonderstruck that the “Fortnight” singer paid her such a big compliment.
“I thought my child was going to faint,” joked Blunt, who is also mom to daughter Violet, 7. “It was the best thing anyone has done for my child.”
She noted that Swift is “very cool” and that when people are nice to her children, it makes her “melt.”
Thankfully, it appears that it’s a love story and the feeling is mutual on Swift’s end, too.
The record-breaking popstar even reposted a video of Blunt and her “Fall Guy” costar, Ryan Gosling, parodying her song “All Too Well” on a recent episode of “Saturday Night Live.”
“All Too Well (Ryan and Emily’s Version) !!!” Swift wrote on X (formerly Twitter), sharing a clip of the two stars, who had changed the lyrics to be about leaving their “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” roles behind.
“Watch me accidentally catch myself singing this version on tour,” Swift joked. “This monologue is EVERYTHING.”
“The Fall Guy” is set to be released in theaters this Friday, May 3.
