Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell was wounded in a nightclub shooting in Florida on Saturday night.
The incident occurred in Sanford, Fla. and Dell sustained minor wounds and was released from the hospital, the Texans announced in a statement.
Dell, 24, was a bystander and not involved in the shooting, according to KPRC-2 in Houston.
Cops said a 16-year-old was arrested after 10 people were wounded at Cabana Live, and none of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries, according to the Associated Press.
“He is in good spirits,” the statement read in part. “Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in the incident.”
Dell is coming off a rookie season where he had 709 receiving yards and seven touchdowns for the Texans.
