April is still having its way with us, folks.
In the thick of Mercury retrograde in Aries and in the wake of a rocky AF eclipse season, we are now set to experience a rare and auspicious planetary conjunction.
On April 20th, Jupiter, the planet of risky business and lucky endeavors will form a conjunction with Uranus, the planet of rebellion, liberation, and chaos with a capital C. The two luminaries will meet in the pleasured pastures of Taurus at 21 degrees.
When two planets merge like this, so too do their energies. When the wild-out, freak flag-fly planet of sudden change meets the benevolent force of fortune, we’re bound for growth and upset, turbulence and transformation.
A moment of exponential change
The last time a Jupiter-Uranus conjunction transpired in the sign of Taurus was May of 1941.
Under this influence, the German bombing campaign against the UK, known as The Blitz, came to an end (not for nothing, blitz is German for lightning, which the god Jupiter famously wields and Uranus rules), the radical and radically popular Bob Dylan was born and the Enigma Code was cracked.
And now, once again, Jupiter is lending its expansive energy to Uranus, encouraging breakthroughs, breakdowns, and revolutions both personal and political.

And how, you ask, will this latest sky saga affect us earthlings?
The lovely, talented, Venus-ruled astrologer Meghan Rose is on hand, with horoscopes for each sign. Read on to learn what to expect when the planets of luck and lightning dance cheek to cheek.
And in honor of the onset of Taurus season, check out Rose’s love letter to the horned and horny bull herd here.
Rose tells The Post, “You are going to start seeing major shifts in your finances, Aries. You may even start to take steps towards a new, more prosperous career path that you hadn’t thought to explore before now. Trust that your growing self-confidence will only help you now!”
“Your sense of self is being redefined by this conjunction, Taurus. You may start to put yourself out there more often & in more risky ways. Trust that the right eyes are on you now as you get vulnerable & begin to live your truth,” Rose assures.
Rose advises, “There are old wounds from the past that have marred your ability to see yourself clearly… until now. You are waking up to the idea that your past does not define you, Gemini. In fact, you can alchemize that pain into something very beautiful now. Don’t be afraid of what arises, you are stronger than ever, and ready to face it.”
Rose’s forecast for the people of the crab? “Your social circle can either make or break you, Cancer. You will use your deeply intuitive senses during this transit to discern who’s bringing you up and who’s dragging you down. Love yourself enough to take action as needed. You would benefit from spending time with the right, aligned crowd.”
Rose assures the good good is coming for the lion pride, “This transit is bringing your career to new heights, Leo. A promotion, new client, or incredible opportunity awaits you. The Universe is supporting your success. However, you have to be willing to partake in the dance. Make the right calls, hang out in the right places, the rest is inevitable.”
Rose insists it’s high time for Virgo folk to transition to enthusiastic, expansion-minded, exclamation-using ‘yes!’ people. “You may find that you have new opportunities to travel, go back to school, or enter into a training program, Virgo. Your spirit is craving novelty and now is the time to say “yes” to experiences that will expand your consciousness.”
Rose urges all Libras to breathe deep and take heart, “There will be several endings that feel sudden, but you are being protected by allowing these things to fall apart in your life. The best blessings often come after immense difficulty. Birth and rebirth are at play here. Your feelings of confusion or sadness are valid, but if you can stay optimistic about what’s coming next to fill this void, it will arrive more quickly than you could have hoped for.”
Rose tells Scorpios to relax and trust (trigger word) that the best is yet to come, “Your relationships are growing at rapid speed and you are going to realize that there is no ‘other shoe to drop.’ You have finally secured the right alignments in your life and it’s only going up from here! Take time to celebrate the people in your life that bring you so much love and it will only multiply.”
Rose suggests archers make themselves hi pri, “You are starting a new habit that will make you feel alive again, Sagittarius. Regain your agency over your life by changing who (or what) you are giving your energy to. Your habits eventually become your life, make it a good one filled with self-prioritization.”
Rose promises, “Romance is in the air, Capricorn! If you are willing to put yourself out there. Getting out of the house, trying somewhere or something new, and letting your creative and joyous side show will attract the right people. Some may even be showing up to stick around for a while!”
Rose says, “You are redefining what “home” means to you, Aquarius. Finding a sense of safety and security in your own presence allows you to say “no” more easily to the wrong people or things. Do something special for yourself during this transit like a weekend away or a spa day. You deserve it!”
Rose assures this conjunction will see fish folk leveling up their friend game, “This transit is bringing a major upgrade to your social circle, Pisces! If you’ve felt isolated or left out, that will no longer be the tune moving forward. You realize that you were never the ugly duckling, you were a swan amongst ducks all along. Let yourself shine and take up space now!”
