Former President Trump has won the Rhode Island Republican presidential primary, Decision Desk HQ projects.
Trump, who is already the presumptive nominee for the GOP, will add at least 10 of the state’s 19 delegates from the contest to his total. Delegates are allocated proportionally to candidates who receive at least 10 percent of the vote statewide or in either of the state’s two congressional districts, but Trump was the only active candidate on the ballot with his other rivals listed having already dropped out.
But voters could also choose an “uncommitted” option or write in another name.
