Haason Reddick is a New York Jet — and his new teammates approve.
The highly accomplished pass rusher was traded by the Eagles to the Jets for a conditional 2026 third-round draft choice on Friday, The Post confirmed.
The Jets, who have been very active this offseason, secured a two-time Pro Bowler who will turn 30 in September, and Sauce Gardner and Jermaine Johnson both appeared to be pleased.
On a post on X highlighting the names across the Jets’ defense, Gardner quoted it and said, “Joe D did it again” with five surprised emojis, referring to the job done by Jets general manager Joe Douglas.
Gardner also posted over the initial NFL post on the news, “The GM convo had to go like this, Joe D: ‘I showed love to you and gave y’all Bryce (Huff) and this how you gonna do me?’
“[Eagles general manager] Howie (Roseman): ‘You right Joe.’”
Jermaine Johnson also responded to the news with a GIF on X.
Gardner replied, “I was going to comment on this GIF but I decided not to. Your account has to be hacked,” he said, adding a laughing and a pause button emoji.
Reddick, originally the 13th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, has also had stints with the Cardinals (2017-20) and Panthers (2021).
Reddick has 58 career sacks and has reached double figures in the category for four straight seasons.
He accumulated 11 last season and a career-high 16 in 2022.
Reddick also forced a league-best five fumbles in 2022.
