More U.S. embassies have been forced to evacuate under President Joe Biden than any other president in U.S. history, according to a new analysis.
The news comes after the Biden administration was forced to send in the military to evacuate the U.S. embassy in Haiti last week as the after gangs freed thousands of violent criminals from prison in the country’s capital, pushing the country to the brink of total collapse.
An analysis from The Daily Signal found that a total of 11 embassies have been evacuated under Biden, more than any other president in U.S. history.
“In Obama’s admin (2nd most evacuations in history), 8 embassies were evacuated (over 8 yrs),” said investigative columnist Tony Kinnett. “In Trump’s admin, only 3 were evacuated. Biden’s administration evacuated embassies in 11 countries, but evacuated Haiti 4 times, making his total more like 14.”

During the Biden-era, the U.S. had to evacuate embassies in Burma in 2021, Haiti in 2021, Chad in 2021, Afghanistan in 2021, Ethiopia in 2021, Haiti in 2022, Ukraine in 2022, Belarus in 2022, Russia in 2022, Nigeria in 2022, Haiti in 2023, Sudan in 2023, Niger in 2023, and Haiti in 2024.
The U.S. State Department said this week that nearly 1,000 Americans who are still stranded in Haiti have filled out crisis intake forms requesting emergency assistance to escape.

“It is not hyperbole to say that this is one of the most dire humanitarian situations in the world,” said State Department spokesperson Vedant Patel. “Gang violence continues to make the security situation in Haiti untenable, and it is a region that demands our attention.”
“This is a fluid situation and the number of individuals who have reached out to us through the crisis intake form is approaching a thousand,” he added.
