Defending the duchess.
Cricketer Kevin Pietersen is slamming critics and conspiracies surrounding friend Kate Middleton.
The English athlete, 43, alleged in a fiery X (formerly known as Twitter) rant that he often has caught up with the Princess of Wales, 42, and her husband, Prince William, “most days” since her planned abdominal surgery in January.
“The conspiracy theories around Kate are absolutely absurd!” Pietersen began.
“We see W&K most days and in the last couple days too! It beggars belief that people would be so ridiculous and cruel in writing BULLS–T on this platform that are out and out lies!” he added, referring that he and his wife, Jessica Taylor, often times spend time with the Wales.
The sportsman continued: “It beggars belief that people would be so ridiculous and cruel in writing BULLS–T on this platform that are out and out lies!”
“W&K are the most wonderful parents and as normal/humble as they come. Let K who is recovering from an operation recover. Leave her and her beautiful family alone!!!!” he fumed.
Pietersen’s statement comes just a day after a blurry video of the Duchess of Cambridge surfaced showing her at a farm shop with William, 41.
Snaps of a “happy, healthy, and relaxed” Middleton and the Duke of Cambridge were spotted going to a store near their home in Windsor Castle over the weekend.
Sources told the Sun that the couple stopped by the market after watching their children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, play sports.
Kensington Palace has yet to remark on the footage, however, royal sources recently told the Post that Middleton’s appearance should crush any more ongoing rumors of her whereabouts.
The mother of three looked “positive and healthy,” an insider said, also noting that the sighting “should hopefully be enough to put an end to the outside noise about her recovery.”

According to Kensington Palace, Middleton will resume her public royal duties after Easter.
A separate source told the Telegraph, “Finally everyone can calm down.”
On March 15, senior palace staffers claimed that they “haven’t been able to see or speak to her” since her surgery.
“They didn’t even know about the surgery until it was announced, so it’s caught them off guard,” a source told Us Weekly last week.
“Only a few people know what’s really going on, and they’re tight-lipped,” an insider told the outlet. “It’s confusing and causing some concern.”
