Krispy Kreme offers free doughnuts for ‘Super TWOsday’

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Krispy Kreme is offering a deal for customers looking to satisfy their sweet cravings on Super Tuesday.

The North Carolina-based doughnut chain is giving away two free Original Glazed doughnuts to anyone who visits a Krispy Kreme location on March 5, no purchase necessary.

A statement shared by Krispy Kreme executive Dave Skena suggested the offer is part of the chain’s push to get customers to exercise their right to vote.

“While encouraging everyone to vote, our primary role on Super TWOsday will be to sweeten your day,” Skena, the company’s global chief brand officer, said in a press release.

Customers can redeem the offer at shops nationwide — not just in the states conducting primary elections — both in-store and at the drive-thru. Guests can also order ahead online for pickup using the promo code “TWOSDAY.”

On March 5, over a dozen states and one U.S. territory will hold primary votes or caucuses in the lead-up to the 2024 presidential election. The outcome of Tuesday’s votes does not determine the presumptive nominee for either the Democratic or Republican parties, though it’s expected to push the leading candidates closer to an official nomination.
