Jonathan Majors says he is happy and in love despite being found guilty of assault and harassment less than three months ago.
The former Marvel star, 34, and girlfriend Meagan Good, 42, made their red carpet debut on Sunday night at the 7th annual AAFCA Special Achievement Awards luncheon, where they posed for pictures and gave an update on their private romance.
When a correspondent from Extra asked how they were doing, Majors smiled and said, “In love… We’re doing good, thanks for asking.”
The “Shazam!” actress added, “We’re doing great. God’s good.”
The couple, who seemed to be dressed for drastically different weather, was all smiles as they walked the red carpet together.
While Majors bundled up in multiple layers underneath a longline gray coat, Good put her abs on display in a yellow gown with cut-outs at her midsection.
Good told the outlet that the twosome was “really excited” to be there to support filmmaker Deon Taylor, who was presented with the Horizon Award by actors Tyrese Gibson and Hilary Swank.
“It is important to celebrate just black entertainers,” the “Harlem” star said, “people who are bringing their unique view, unique way of sharing, of storytelling.”
“We are here tonight celebrating Deon, so we are really excited about that,” she added. “He has been a mentor and a big brother to us.”
This was Majors first time stepping onto a red carpet since he was convicted in his domestic violence trial, which stemmed from a March 2023 incident between him and his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.
While the actor was found guilty on one count of misdemeanor third-degree assault and one count of second-degree harassment in a split verdict, he was acquitted of two other counts of assault and aggravated harassment.

Majors, who is scheduled to be sentenced next month, later admitted he was “shocked and afraid” after learning his fate.
“I’m standing there, and the verdict comes down. I say, ‘How is that possible based off the evidence, based off the prosecution’s evidence, let alone our evidence? How is that possible?’” he reflected during an interview with ABC News Live in early January.
Although the actor lost most of his work in Hollywood, he said that he is still “blessed” to have a few key loved ones in his life.
“Everything has kinda gone away. And it’s just me now, you know, and my lovely, you know, partner, Meagan, and my dogs,” Majors said, noting that he is “surrounded by people who love [him]” and “care about” him.
The “Creed III” star plans to appeal the misdemeanor convictions.
Good and Majors were first romantically linked in May — less than two months after Jabbari came forward with accusations of domestic abuse.
The couple tried to keep their romance out of the spotlight during it’s early stages, often going on low-key dinner dates while incognito.
However, they eventually went public with their relationship once Major’s hearings began, with the actress typically accompanying him to the courthouse.
The pair — who are reportedly living together in New York City — continued to put on a united front even after Majors was handed a guilty verdict.
“They’re solid and very much in love,” a source told People last month.
They also reportedly adopted a puppy together and recently embarked on a cross-country roadtrip together from Los Angeles to NYC.
