Tina Fey slams ‘little Broadway c–ts’ upset over new ‘Mean Girls’ lyric changes

That’s not fetch!

Tina Fey, 53, has a message for any theater kids upset with the subtle lyric changes in the new “Mean Girls” movie musical and the Broadway production.

During the “I Don’t Think So, Honey,” segment of Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers’ “Las Culturistas” podcast on Wednesday, the “Mean Girls” creator addressed people mad about discrepancies.

“I don’t think so, honey: little Broadway c–ts on TikTok complaining about two lines of ‘Revenge Party,’” she said of one fan-favorite song that was slightly modified.

Another tune from the Broadway musical updated for the 2024 film was “Sexy.”

In the original the lyrics are “This is modern feminism talkin’/I expect to run the world in shoes I cannot walk in,” while the movie lyric says, “Watch me as I run the world in shoes I cannot walk in.”

Tina Fey appeared Wednesday on the “Las Culturistas” podcast.

“When I bring you f—king Reneé Rapp, I bring you Auli’i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey,” the “Saturday Night Live” alum said rattling off the movie’s young cast, while defending her creative choices.

“This is why we can’t have nice things,” Fey quipped to Yang and Rogers’ uncontrollable laughter.

The “30 Rock” star also used the segment to give Yang some unsolicited career advice.

“I don’t think so honey: Bowen Yang giving his real opinions about movies on this podcast,” Fey said to Yang’s astonishment.

“I regret to inform you that you are too famous now, sir. What’s gonna happen? You have a problem with ‘Saltburn?‘ Shhh! Quiet luxury,” she joked.

“Keep it to yourself, because what you are gonna do when Emerald Fennell calls you about her next project where you play Carey Mulligan’s co-worker in the bridal section of Harrods, and then act three takes a sexually violent turn and you have to pretend to be surprised by that turn?” Fey said of the famed “Saltburn” director.

“Learn from Ayo. Podcasts are forever,” Fey referenced “The Bear” star Ayo Edeberi whose less-than-flattering remarks about Jennifer Lopez resurfaced last week as the two both appeared on “SNL.”

“Authenticity is dangerous and expensive,” Fey concluded.
